Gilgandra Shire Council and Gilgandra Multi-Purpose Service (MPS) invite the community to take part in Gilgandra Gets Goin’ - Have a Crack Challenge - a fun, inclusive program designed to improve movement, health and wellbeing for people of all ages and abilities.
The challenge is personal and flexible. Whether you join a scheduled activity, get active with friends, or follow your own fitness routine, the aim is simple: move more, connect more, and have a crack.
There’s no pressure and no competition - just encouragement to try something new, stay active, and support each other along the way. You can take part on your own or as part of a group, and you’re welcome to pick and choose the activities that suit you.
Prefer to do your own thing? No problem. Participants can complete their own fitness or movement program instead of attending the set activities.
Confidential Health Checks are available in a confidential setting at Gilgandra Multi-Purpose Service (MPS), Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 4.00pm.
A range of free, fun and accessible activities will be held across the region throughout the challenge period.
