The GIL Library Hub welcomes you to utilise our Multipurpose Room - perfect for meetings, workshops, social events and more. This room seats up to 40 people and is available for full and half day bookings. The space includes Wi-Fi, large screen, videoconferencing capabilities, servery kitchen, lectern and more!

The multipurpose room has direct access to the deck overlooking the Castlereagh River, the perfect spot for your next event! Bookings for this space can be outside the GIL Library Hub's standard opening hours. 

As per Council's adopted fees and charges, hire of this space:

Commercial Per Day	$180
Commercial Half Day	$100
Not-For-Profit Per Day	$90
Not-For-Profit Half Day	$50

In addition to the hire fee there is also:

A security deposit for fob key (refunded on return of fob key, undamaged) $50

Cleaning/ Security Deposits:

• Private function with alcohol available- $880
• Public function with alcohol available - $550
• Function with no alcohol- $220

Please note that you will be contacted by GIL Library Hub staff, and asked to complete a Booking Request form for this room.  Incorporated bodies, sporting clubs, associations of any kind or profit making/commercial activities will be required to have a current Public Liability Policy.  

Payment of the daily rate will need to be made at the GIL Library Hub on or before the day of your booking, prior to utilising the space. 

As this room is available for half and full day bookings, each booking is for half days, if you wish to book for the full day and or multiple days please click the first time slot and select "select and add another time" to add the additional time slots. Please call the library for any issues with this.
